Idea
Catalyst is a prototype of a personal design ideation tool used to gain inspiration from one word based on varying perspectives. As words have endless interpretations, I wanted to explore ideation with AI tools while exploring diverse outputs.
Details
/Created a custom GPT 4o assistant to generate prompts and map relevant words
/Trained 4 custom Stable Diffusion Models using Fast-DreamBooth in Google Colab
/Prototyped the system using TouchDesigner
Sample Outputs
Six ambient key words were selected: Solace, Echo, Resonance, Stars, Balance, and Rain.
Four perspectives were considered: Community, Love, Conflict, and Loss.
Image Generation
I utilized the DrawThings MacOS app, and used a CFG scale of 2.5 with 40 steps to encourage greater image diversity.
