Overview
Context
Design team member for Resonance, the 2025 TEDxUofW conference, a student-led event that brings together local speakers to share their stories with the community.
My Role
As a designer, my contributions included developing the brand identity, a responsive website + design system, and brand assets.
Branding
Approach
How can we represent and scale a single idea?

Motion
Resonance is fluid. I experimented with Blender, p5.js, Phase, Cavalry, and Jitter for motion assets.
Website
Workflow
I created a responsive website on Figma and prototyped on Framer. I served as the point of contact between design and development and had a lot of fun translating the brand into a web environment!

Initial Ideation
Approach
At first, I was trying whatever to build momentum. My original ideas in the first week of iteration were pretty funky, as I was inspired by rave visuals and wanted to deviate from years prior. I quickly realized that my direction didn't quite capture the message the theme conveyed, was too busy for our target demographic, which is generally older, it's not a rave!

Reflection
Team
I had a lot of fun working with talented designers and bonding on seemingly endless deliverables with constant critique
Development
I also enjoyed building a relationship with the development team, as my previous experiences involved pretty split teams. I was lucky to have a dev lead that was on my same wavelength, he really helped push the website further and was excited about the design
Tooling
Lastly, this is one of my most visually expressive projects, showcasing my love for experimentation and tooling including p5.js, Cavalry, Phase, Jitter, and Framer!
